    School Social Worker / Student Support Counselor - MSW, LMSW, School Counselor, or School Social Worker, and Licensed Professional Counselor , LMFT

    Location: San Benito, Texas or Santa Rosa, Texas 
    Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

    Multiple Positions available: Onsite, Hybrid, and Virtual

    Position Summary

    Noor Staffing Group is seeking a compassionate, dedicated mental health professional to support the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students. As a key member of our student services team, the ideal candidate will bridge the gap between home, school, and community to help students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a safe, supportive school environment.

    We welcome applications from candidates holding an LMSW, MSW, School Counselor, LPC, as well as those with valid state certification in school social work or school counseling. Certified in Texas or willing to get the Texas Certification. 

    Key Responsibilities

     

       

    • Provide individual and small-group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or academic distress.
    •  

       

    • Deliver timely crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
    •  

       

    • Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to develop and implement behavior intervention or support plans.
    •  

       

    • Serve as a liaison between the school and community mental health/social service agencies.
    •  

       

    • Participate actively in multidisciplinary student support team meetings (e.g., MTSS, IEP, or 504 plan coordination).
    •  

       

    • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards.
    •  

     

    Qualifications & Certifications

     

    • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), School Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited university.- LPC, SSW, MSW, LMSW, SC, LMFT etc,,,
    • Licensure / Certification (Any of the following):
      • Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
      • State-issued School Social Work endorsement/certificate
      • State-issued School Counselor certification/license
      • Able to get one of the following in Texas: LPC, SSW, MSW, LMSW, SC, etc,,,
    • Skills: Strong crisis management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of child and adolescent development.
    • Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting is preferred.
