Description
A health services organization in the Hudson Valley of New York is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their school-based mental health program in Ulster County.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 4pm
Setting: School-based day treatment program
Responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of children in grades 1 through 6 within a special education day treatment program
Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
Deliver crisis intervention support as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team and participate in weekly meetings
Maintain timely clinical documentation and support discharge planning and follow-up
Qualifications:
1+ year of Social Work experience
Master's Degree in Social Work
Active NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
Experience providing Clinical Therapeutic services to younger children
Experience facilitating Group Therapy
Experience with Crisis intervention
Desired Skills:
Bilingual
Experience working in a Mental Health setting or with adolescents
