Social Worker (Bilingual Spanish)

A community-based behavioral health organization is seeking a Master Social Worker in Queens, NY to provide field-based crisis intervention and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. This role focuses on in-home assessments, crisis counseling, case management, and coordinated community support.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Setting: Field-based

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person intakes and home visits throughout the assigned area
• Assess service needs and provide crisis intervention support
• Deliver case management, behavioral support, and crisis counseling services
• Facilitate in-person parent support groups
• Collaborate with families, providers, and community agencies to support care planning and resource connections

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Previous experience in a Social Work role/setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
