Position Overview
Seeking independently licensed behavioral health professionals to provide counseling and mental health services within a correctional setting. Candidates must be comfortable with crisis intervention, conducting assessments, establishing diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
Accepted Credentials:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Active Wisconsin LCSW license required
- Independently licensed
- On-site, full-time preferred
- Counseling-focused experience required
- Able to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Comfortable with crisis intervention
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Active Wisconsin Independent LPC license required
- Master's level counselor
- On-site, full-time
- Comfortable with crisis intervention
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program (LCSW candidates)
- Active Wisconsin licensure (LPC or LCSW)
- BLS
- Minimum 1 year of social work or behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations
- Establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling services
- Perform crisis assessments and interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Compensation:
LPC - Travel
- Hourly Rate: $28.00/hr
- Meals Stipend: $476/week
- Housing Stipend: $770/week
- Estimated Weekly Package: $2,366/week
LPC - Local
- Hourly Rate: $53.00/hr
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,120/week
LCSW - Travel
- Hourly Rate: $34.00/hr
- Meals Stipend: $476/week
- Housing Stipend: $770/week
- Estimated Weekly Package: $2,606/week
LCSW - Local
- Hourly Rate: $59.00/hr
