GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Social Work Supervisors provide direct supervision to social workers as they support families in taking greater responsibility for raising their children and assist communities in supporting those families. Additionally, Social Work Supervisors oversee social workers in their efforts to ensure the safety, well-being, and permanency of children and vulnerable adults.

Torrington is a city located in southeastern Wyoming along the North Platte River, near the Nebraska border, and serves as the county seat of Goshen County. Torrington is the home of

Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to applicants who have a Bachelors Degree or higher in social work, counseling, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, or administration of justice, plus at least four (4) years of professional work experience in social work, juvenile probation, counseling and/or correctional rehabilitation.

Bachelors Degree (typically in Social Work)
Experience:
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Social Services Program Analyst
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Social Services Program Analyst
