Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $58.00 $62.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:45 AM 5:15 PM)
- Travel Requirements: Accepts first timers

Job Summary
This is a hospital-based role with ASAP starts only. The position focuses on crisis evaluations to determine level of care for behavioral health, arranging psychiatric bed placement, and obtaining insurance authorization. The facility is open to 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct crisis evaluations to determine the appropriate level of care for behavioral health patients
- Arrange psychiatric bed placement for patients requiring inpatient care
- Obtain insurance authorization for behavioral health services
Required Skills
- Comfort in crisis situations
- Prior experience with psychiatric evaluations
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
Education Requirements
- Active Massachusetts (MA) LCSW license required must be active at time of submission
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social services or a related clinical behavioral health role
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Hospital-based setting
- Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccination: not required
- Shift flexibility: facility is open to 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
