Social Media Marketing Specialist — Part-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand, create engaging content, and manage our presence across social media platforms.

This is a local Houston-area position for someone who understands how to turn ideas into content that gets attention and drives engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

• Develop short-form videos, graphics, posts, and promotional content

• Build and maintain a consistent posting calendar

• Grow followers, engagement, and brand awareness

• Monitor performance and identify what content is working

• Stay current on social media trends and platform changes

• Help develop and execute social media campaigns

• Work directly with leadership on messaging, promotions, and new ideas

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional social media marketing experience

• Must be local to the Houston area

• Strong content creation and copywriting skills

• Experience managing business social media accounts

• Comfortable creating short-form video and visual content

• Working knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics

• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects

Nice to Have

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools

• Experience with paid social advertising

• Experience marketing a small business or growing brand

• Photography or video editing experience
