Gravillis is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and execute the social presence for a high-profile client across entertainment, sports, and culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own the system, the team, and the output. From content calendars and asset pipelines to real-time moments and community engagement, you are responsible for how the brand shows up every day.
What You’ll Do
Lead the social strategy across platforms, from planning through real-time execution
Own and evolve the content calendar, balancing planned content with reactive opportunities
Manage the full content pipeline, including briefs, asset tracking, approvals, and publishing
Oversee and mentor Community Managers, setting the standard for tone, engagement, and responsiveness
Actively participate in community management, especially during key moments, launches, and live events
Partner closely with creative and production teams to develop, refine, and execute platform-native content
Provide clear tasks and approve copy
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, campaign goals, and platform best practices
Own day-to-day client communication, including presentations, feedback, and approvals
Identify trends, cultural moments, and opportunities worth acting on
Track performance and translate insights into clear creative and strategic pivots
Build and maintain workflows that support high-volume, fast-turn content
Contribute to campaign extensions, new ideas, and opportunities to grow the account
Operate with an understanding of scope, timelines, and resourcing when planning work
What Makes You Right for This
You think in moments, not just calendars
You know how to lead a team while staying close to the work
You understand what makes people stop, watch, and engage
You can manage assets, timelines, and approvals without losing creative quality
You’re as comfortable in the comments as you are in a client presentation
You understand fandom and how to build it through content and conversation
You can move fast without losing taste
You bring ideas, not just execution
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing social media, ideally within entertainment, sports, or culture-driven brands
Experience overseeing Community Managers or social teams
Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms
Strong copywriting skills with a clear, confident voice
Proven experience managing content calendars, asset pipelines, and publishing workflows
Experience working with studios, streamers, or major brands
Proficiency with social analytics and reporting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying detail-oriented
Experience working with creators or influencers is a plus
