    Description

    We are looking for a Social Media & Content Operations Intern to help shape how MOBY shows up publicly, through the footage and stories that come directly from our engineering and field teams. This is not a traditional social media role. You will work closely with engineers and leadership to plan, shoot, and edit original content, manage our social media presence, and help build the systems that keep our growing video library organized and usable. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, creatively sharp, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership in a fast-moving environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Support the planning and execution of a content calendar across MOBY's social media channels, with an emphasis on video
    • Shoot original footage on-site during ocean tests, engineering milestones, and company events
    • Edit raw footage, including material captured by engineers and other team members, into finished content
    • Assist with copywriting, scheduling, posting, and community engagement across channels
    • Coordinate with engineering and leadership to help capture significant moments as they occur
    • Support the organization and upkeep of the company's video library alongside IT


    Requirements

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Highly organized, with a structured, detail-oriented approach to managing content and workflows
    • Strong video editing skills, with the ability to take raw, unstructured footage and shape it into something creative and compelling
    • Hands-on experience with social media management and video content creation
    • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and picking up new responsibilities as needed
    • High ownership mindset and ability to operate independently
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Scuba certification or diving experience
    • Interest in robotics or deep tech more broadly
