Social Emotional Specialist

The Green Bay Area Public Schools Head Start is a federally funded preschool program serving 336 children (ages 3-5) across two locations, offering half-day and full-day programs Monday through Thursday:

• Head Start Learning Center: Located on Bellevue St., adjacent to the East River Trail.
• Jefferson Head Start: Located north of Velp Ave. and west of the Fox River.

Each site features eight classrooms and a team of specialists who support families through home visits and close collaboration with the district''s 4K and Early Childhood teams.

Position Responsibilities

Working closely with classroom staff and coordinators to foster students'' and families'' social-emotional growth, this role will:

• In collaboration with the Education Services Coaches support Implementation of the Pyramid Model framework across classrooms.
• Support the administration and completion of the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 assessments.
• Help develop and implement goals for individual students requiring Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention plans.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support for classroom staff.
