They are currently looking to add a Social Content Coordinator to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Social Content Coordinator on a contract basis (through the end of November, with a possible extension through December) for full-time hours to plan, create, and execute engaging social media content from concept through production. This role involves creating compelling visual and written content to educate, entertain, and grow audiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about digital storytelling.

Responsibilities of the Social Content Coordinator:
  • Manage the social media process from start through completion, including planning, testing, and production.
  • Create compelling video and photo content that engages, educates, or entertains audiences using design software such as Slate, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other video/photo editors.
  • Execute social engagement across all platforms.
  • Write compelling and engaging social media copy.
  • Proofread social media content for clarity, grammar, and spelling before posting.
Required Experience/Skills for the Social Content Coordinator:
  • Must be available for the event on November 1.
  • Proficiency in graphic execution and content creation using Photoshop, Canva, and/or Slate.
  • Experience creating live event content and video content using a phone.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Social Content Coordinator:
  • Strong copywriting skills are a plus.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to adapt content for different social media audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in social media management or content creation are a plus.
