SOC Security Information Management (Software Engineer Support)

Position: Senior Software Engineer Cloud Security (.NET, Azure, SIEM/SOAR)
Work Location: Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Vacaville, and San Jose, CA
Contract role

Mandatory Qualifications

The candidate must have the following experience within the last 10 years:

• 3+ years of experience with complex cloud services.
• 5+ years of advanced software engineering experience with .NET, .NET Core, or other languages used for cloud logic, cloud functions, and web applications.
• 5+ years of advanced database and data analytics experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and working with REST and SOAP APIs.
• 5+ years of lead-level experience with SQL and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• 3+ years of experience setting up, managing, and maintaining Git repositories.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security model design and implementation.
• 5+ years of lead experience building scalable cloud applications.
• 3+ years of experience creating automated unit testing and test scripts.
• Training in cloud SIEM and SOAR technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

The following are highly desirable:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud resource deployment and administration.
• 3+ years of experience administering GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps automation.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker container development and deployment.
• Agile training and hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Project management training and/or PMP certification.
