Pay Range: $55 to $65/Hr on C2C

Technical/Functional Skills

As a Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer, you will design, secure, automate, operate, and Eligible to workimize enterprise Snowflake environments across Google Cloud Platform (Eligible to workP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You will partner with Data Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Information Security & Risk, and FinOps teams to deliver a secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient Snowflake platform for enterprise analytics and data workloads.

Core Responsibilities

1. Snowflake Platform Engineering: Design, configure, operate, and govern Snowflake environments across Eligible to workP and AWS, including accounts, databases, schemas, virtual warehouses, resource monitors, and cloud storage integrations.

2. Security & Compliance: Implement RBAC, SSO, service authentication, encryption, masking policies, secrets management, audit controls, and private network connectivity in partnership with Information Security & Risk.

3. Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Automate Snowflake provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform, Git, and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Eligible to workP Cloud Build, Harness, or equivalent tooling.

4. Performance & FinOps: Monitor and Eligible to workimize query performance, warehouse sizing and scaling, resource utilization, clustering where appropriate, credit consumption, and storage costs.

5. Reliability & Operations: Implement monitoring, alerting, operational runbooks, incident management, capacity management, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery practices for production Snowflake environments.

6. Platform Standards & Enablement: Develop reusable Terraform modules, automation, security guardrails, deployment standards, documentation, and self-service capabilities for data engineering and analytics teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or software engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake administration, architecture, security, workload management, performance Eligible to workimization, and cost management.
