Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer + Junior Architect with strong experience in Snowflake, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, Python, and cloud data platforms.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions while supporting data architecture, governance, security, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake.

• Design and implement efficient data models and data architecture solutions.

• Optimize Snowflake performance, queries, and workloads.

• Implement and support Snowflake features, including:

  • Snowpipe

  • Streams

  • Tasks

  • Snowpark

• Develop and optimize SQL and Python-based data solutions.

• Support cloud data architecture, security, governance, and best practices.

• Implement data-sharing and secure data-access solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders on solution design.

• Support data integration, transformation, and migration initiatives.

• Contribute to data architecture discussions and technical solution design.

• Ensure data quality, scalability, performance, and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with Snowflake security and data sharing.

• Strong experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, including:

  • Star Schema

  • Snowflake Schema

  • Data Vault

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform:

  • AWS

  • Azure

  • GCP

• Experience with data orchestration and integration tools such as:

  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  • Apache Airflow

  • Informatica

• Strong understanding of cloud data architecture and best practices.

• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Certification.

• Experience with Data Governance.

• Exposure to Cloud Data Architecture.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms.

• Understanding of data security and compliance best practices.
