Role Description: Develop and deploy Cortex Analyst applications that enable natural language-to-SQL translation for structured Snowflake data, delivering self-service analytics to business users. Build Cortex Agents that orchestrate between structured and unstructured data sources, using semantic views, Cortex Search, and other tools to answer complex, multi-step questions.

Salary Range: $67.00 - $69.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).

Role Description:

• Develop and deploy Cortex Analyst applications that enable natural language-to-SQL translation for structured Snowflake data, delivering self-service analytics to business users.
• Build Cortex Agents that orchestrate between structured and unstructured data sources, using semantic views, Cortex Search, and other tools to answer complex, multi-step questions.
• Integrate Cortex Code into data engineering workflows to automate SQL, dbt model updates, and operational tasks directly within Snowflake’s environment.
• Design REST API integrations for Cortex Analyst and other Cortex features, enabling embedding into custom chat interfaces, Teams, and other platforms.
• Optimize AI performance for accuracy, latency, and cost, leveraging Snowflake’s scalable compute and managed AI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering, and product teams to define AI use cases, refine prompts, and fine-tune LLMs for domain-specific accuracy.
• Maintain security and governance by ensuring Cortex applications comply with Snowflake’s RBAC and data governance policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Snowflake expertise: Deep knowledge of Snowflake SQL, warehouse management.
• AI/ML foundations: Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Cortex suite proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, Cortex Code, and Cortex Search.

Required Skills: Generative AI.
Experience Required: 10 & above.
Snowflake Experience: 7+ years.
