Snowflake Architect
Location : Raleigh,North Carolina Onsite
"Looking for experienced Snowflake Architect with strong expertise in Data Architecture Snowflake administration Data Vault ODS modeling and dimensional data modeling The role involves designing scalable enterprise data platforms ensuring high performance governance and endtoend data lifecycle management
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture
Define and lead enterprise data architecture strategies across ODS STD DWH and Data Mart layers
Design endtoend data pipelines ensuring a unified and governed data ecosystem within Snowflake
Establish standards for data ingestion transformation storage and consumption across layers
Drive data modeling best practices schema evolution and data integration strategies
Ensure adherence to data quality lineage governance and security frameworks
Snowflake Architecture Administration
Architect and manage Snowflake environments DEV QA PROD with strong governance controls
Implement RBAC security policies and access control mechanisms
Optimize performance cost and scalability of Snowflake workloads
Lead administration activities including monitoring tuning and capacity planning
Data Modeling
Design and implement Data Vault modeling ODS layer for scalable ingestion and auditability
Build dimensional models Fact Dimension Star Snowflake Schema for business consumption
Define data structures across standardized and curated layers for analytics
Engineering Integration
Design and optimize ETLELT pipelines using SQL Snowpark and cloudnative tools
Collaborate with business data and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Support integration with analytics reporting and downstream systems
Required Skills Expertise
Strong experience in Data Architecture and Snowflake ecosystem
Expertise in Snowflake Administration RBAC and performance tuning
Deep knowledge of Data Vault and Dimensional Data Modeling
Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse EDW architecture
Expertise in SQL data pipelines and data optimization
Experience in cloud platforms AWSAzure and data integration frameworks
Snowflake Core especially bulk loadingeven driven task graph directory tables streams snowparkpython procedure scripting AWS S3 notification codebuild stepfunctions lambda SQL Strong
Secondary skills Talend ETL AWS Snowflake Terraform
Good to Have
Experience with Snowpark DBT MLAI integration MLOps
Exposure to largescale data modernization programs
Domain experience in Insurance Financial Services
Skills

Variable Compensation: This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
