About the Job Landscapes Unlimited Outdoors is looking for an experienced Snow Operations Manager to lead and support our snow and ice management operations throughout the winter season. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring our snow operations are safe, organized, efficient, and ready to respond when winter weather hits. The Snow Operations Manager will coordinate crews, equipment, materials, routes, and field operations while working closely with our Operations team to deliver reliable service to our commercial customers throughout the Twin Cities metro area. When it snows, we work. This position requires flexibility and availability during snow events, including early mornings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. Snow events may require extended shifts depending on weather conditions and operational needs. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate snow and ice operations before, during, and after snow events Manage and support snow crews, operators, subcontractors, and field personnel Monitor weather conditions and help prepare operational plans for upcoming events Coordinate staffing, routes, equipment, materials, and site assignments Ensure crews are properly dispatched and prepared before each event Provide active field oversight throughout snow events Monitor properties for service quality, completion, and safety Troubleshoot operational issues and adjust staffing or equipment as conditions change Ensure snow removal and deicing services meet company and customer expectations Communicate clearly with managers, field employees, subcontractors, and customers Assist with equipment readiness and ensure operational issues are addressed quickly Document service activity and maintain accurate operational information Participate in post-event reviews and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service What We're Looking For Previous experience in snow and ice management, landscaping, construction, field operations, or a related industry Proven leadership experience managing field crews or operational teams Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced and changing environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Comfortable using technology for communication, scheduling, routing, and operational tracking Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work outdoors in Minnesota winter conditions Ability to be available during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays What Landscapes Unlimited Offers Full-time, year-round position Competitive compensation Company-provided vehicle for business use Medical insurance options for eligible employees 401(k) plan with company match Paid holidays and paid time off in accordance with company policy Company equipment and technology Opportunity to work with an established Twin Cities landscape and snow management company A team environment focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement About Landscapes Unlimited Landscapes Unlimited Outdoors provides professional landscape construction, commercial maintenance, irrigation, and snow and ice management services throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
