Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking an experienced Travel RN to join the compassionate care team at a Skilled Nursing Facility near Reno, NV. This 13-week travel contract offers competitive pay and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit rural community surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
Job Description:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs and wound care
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on care plans
- Supervise CNAs and LPNs and ensure high-quality, person-centered care
- Document resident status, changes in condition, and care provided
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
- Support residents and families with education and compassionate communication
Education and Certification Requirements:- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
- Active California RN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and time management skills
