Title of Project/Activity:
SNAP School Coordinator (Grant-Funded) Internal Only
Activity Details:
SNAP School Coordinator will provide leadership and oversight for the School Meals & SNAP Dual Enrollment Pilot Project. The coordinator will serve as the primary school contact for all project-related activities and research between the awarded school(s) and Rutgers University. This role focuses on promoting the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) to families in a stigma-free and culturally appropriate manner.
The coordinator will be expected to sustain strong relationships with families, monitor the distribution of program information, and collaborate with Rutgers project leadership to identify barriers to food assistance enrollment. Please note that this position is grant-funded.

Date: September 1, 2026 thru June 30, 2027
Events: The individual may need to work after-school events to host SNAP and school meal application activities.
Activity Cost:
Total of two (2) SNAP Coordinators, one(1) per school (John Marshall Elementary and James Monroe Elementary)
Total of two (2) Backup SNAP Coordinators, one(1) per school (John Marshall Elementary and James Monroe Elementary) in the event the SNAP Coordinator is unavailable.
Pay Rate:
$35.00 per hour for a maximum of 10 hours
