SMT / Hi-Rel Solder Assembler
Salary: $45,000-$58,000 based on experience | Entry-Level & Experienced Opportunities

Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Assemble, inspect, and solder high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBAs) and sub-assemblies using surface-mount and through-hole components.
-Operate and work with SMT production equipment including stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, PCBA cleaning equipment, soldering equipment, microscopes, and other assembly tools.
-Perform precision hand soldering and component assembly in accordance with applicable IPC standards, engineering drawings, and assembly documentation.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-controlled work environment while following established quality, safety, and production procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
-Entry-Level SMT: High school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination/manual dexterity, and willingness to learn electronics manufacturing.
-Hi-Rel Solder: 2+ years of PCB/electronics assembly experience with hands-on precision soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components.
-Ability to read and understand technical documents, assembly instructions, and engineering drawings, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-Ability to work with small electronic components and sit or stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Experience soldering to IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards, with IPC certification preferred.
-Familiarity with ESD procedures, fine-pitch components, microscope/magnification work, SMT equipment, or basic soldering is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
-Entry-Level SMT Assembler: $45,000-$50,000
-Hi-Rel Solder Assembler: $54,000-$58,000 based on experience
