Position Summary The SMT Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day SMT production in an electronics manufacturing environment. SMT Production Leadership Manage production activities across multiple SMT lines, shifts, and product families.

Position SummaryThe SMT Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day SMT production in an electronics manufacturing environment. This position provides leadership to production operators and ensure safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and employee engagement objectives are consistently achieved.Key Responsibilities1. SMT Production Leadership

• Manage production activities across multiple SMT lines, shifts, and product families.
• Monitor line performance, output, downtime, utilization, throughput, and schedule attainment.
• Ensure proper staffing and allocation of resources based on production requirements.
• Maintain strong floor presence and provide real-time leadership during production activities.

2. Quality Process Control & Productivity & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure timely containment and corrective action for manufacturing defects.
• Utilize data and production metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive reduction of downtime, changeover losses, material shortages, and production interruptions.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company EHS requirements.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, ESD controls, and equipment safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in electronics and SMT manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and production management systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and structured problem solving.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
