SMT Machine Operator
Join Our Electronics Manufacturing Team!
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented SMT Machine Operator to join a well-established electronics manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with experience setting up and operating automated equipment used in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systems.
- Load electronic components into feeders and magazines according to work orders.
- Select and verify machine programs for each production run.
- Monitor equipment to ensure efficient operation and quality production.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
- Monitor reflow oven temperatures and soldering processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and track material usage.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Assist with other production and assembly tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of SMT machine setup and operation experience.
- Familiarity with pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
