Job Title: SMT Electronic /Engineering Technician
Duration: 6 Months

Shift Time: 7:00-4:00pm PST

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced electronic training or relevant experience.
- Proficient in using assembly tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience in soldering and mechanical assembly.
- Pursuing a ME, EE or a technical degree.
- Solder and/or ESD certification.
- Prior work experience in the industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Creo CAD Design tool skill.
- Desktop CNC and SMT machine programming experience.
- Understanding and demonstrated application of PWB design principles, practices, and standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis on rework failure.
- Assist in troubleshooting and fixing lab hardware.
- Prepare, load, and solder printed circuit boards with minimal supervision.
- Perform mechanical assembly of rack assemblies, reference devices, test boxes, and chassis.
- Communicate effectively with prototype leads and engineering groups.
