Each shift will consist of greeting members, facilitating membership sign-ups, giving air-high fives, smiling, laughing, answering phones, providing the best hospitality experience possible for our members, and building meaningful relationships.
For maximum success, you should:

- Be a multi-tasker, a self starter, and a social enthusiast.
- Have great communication skills.
- Be health and fitness minded.
- A team player.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new menu items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Learning about proper smoothie preparation and presentation techniques to improve quality.
- Preparing smoothies and adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
- Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases or behind the smoothie bar.
- Cleaning smoothie bar area, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Communicating well in person and on the phone.
- Light lifting (up to 30-50 lbs.)
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.

The DeSoto Athletic Club opened its doors in 1999, opening the first health club of its kind in DeSoto County.
