MRI Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support outpatient imaging services at the Downtown Outpatient Pavilion. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating Essenza scanners with VE11 software.

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Monday & Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• MRI Certification preferred
• Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Hands-on experience with Essenza – VE11 scanners required
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and outpatient imaging procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Operate Essenza VE11 MRI scanners efficiently and safely.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and quality.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Provide professional patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior outpatient MRI experience
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Familiarity with MRI safety procedures and quality standards
