    Job Title: SME Consultant (Kronos Application)

    Location: Washington, DC

    Duration: Long term Contract

     

    Authorized to work in US (GC and US Citizens preferred)

     Kronos Application SME Consultant

     Position Summary

     The position requires significant Kronos consulting experience working with Timekeeper, accruals and attendance. The project will consist of the implementation of Kronos 8.3. in a mid-size union environment, where various union contracts and requirements are in place. The role will need to support the implementation in a variety of areas, such as payroll, training, configuration and interface development. The consultant will need to have a strong understanding of best practice within Kronos implementations and the ability to provide guidance, mentoring and knowledge transfer to the internal client team through the full life cycle of implementation.

    The position will require the consultant to be onsite in the DC area Monday through Thursday each week.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Complete all tasks assigned, in a timely manner following Kronos implementation best practices
    • Work closely with the Kronos Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers in support of system implementations
    • Fully document all tasks requirements and ensure they meet the client documentation policies,
    • Tasks may include
    • Implement data collection devices
    • Perform business rule analysis
    • Configure software application
    • Conduct application orientation for customers
    • Analyze enhanced requirements and create process documentation, diagrams and feature specifications
    • Understand and configure base level (non-complex) software interfacing products
    • Consult with customers on system configuration, industry specific features and system processes and procedures
    • Aid with training material development
    • Provide knowledge transfer to key client employee on various areas of the applications

    Qualifications:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

    • Minimum of 8 Years’ experience in the implementation of timekeeper, accruals and attendance modules within Kronos software solutions
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience, working with WIM and basic interfaces
    • Experience with multiple PC operating systems
    • Experience utilizing PC application software (MS Office)
    • Experience in the utilization of Oracle & SQL relational databases
    • Demonstrated communication skills – written and verbal
    • Experience and understanding of the people Soft application a plus
    • Kronos Certification in configuration and Timekeeper administration preferred
