Pay
Hourly Pay: $19.00 + Monthly Bonus
What you will do
- Diagnose and repair commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface-prep equipment
- Service 2, 3 & 4 cylinder gas engines and related components
- Restore performance on truck-mounted carpet cleaning units and portable carpet extractors
- Maintain hard surface floor cleaning machines
- Repair duct cleaning and deodorizing equipment
- Bring dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, air movers, and HEPA vacuums back to spec
- Use testing instruments, troubleshooting guides, and OEM manuals correctly
- Create service orders; build bids; present repair estimates clearly
- Schedule and track appointments in service software
- Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and via email
- Coordinate shop workload with other technicians and store staff
- Order parts and work directly with vendors
- Maintain shop tools; keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Meet or beat department quality and productivity goals
- Assist teammates and take direction from supervisors
What you bring
- Preferred 2+ years’ experience in one or more: commercial cleaning/restoration equipment; small engine repair/maintenance; pressure washer service; vehicle repair/maintenance
- Valid driver license; clean MVR with no DUIs or careless/reckless entries in the past 3 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Own a basic mechanic’s tool set
- Mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and strong attention to detail
- Fast, accurate diagnostics and problem-solving
- Safety-first approach with consistent use of safety glasses, hearing protection, and PPE
- Reliable focus and time management to complete quality work
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Professional appearance and demeanor; strong written and verbal communication; basic computer literacy
- Occasional overtime availability
- Bilingual English/Spanish appreciated
