    Position Overview

    • Department: Rehab Services 
    • Schedule: Part-Time Days  
    • Work Location: UAB ST Vincent's Blount

    Job Description

    Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy.

     

    • Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.
    • Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
    • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services.
    • Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.

    Qualifications

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Audiologist according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Speech Language Pathology required.

    Education:

    • Graduate from an accredited program relevant to professional licensure required.
