Job Opening – Slotter Machine Operator | High Point, NC

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Slotter Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in High Point. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining slotting machinery used to cut corrugated and paperboard materials while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor slotter machines according to production specifications
- Adjust machine settings, including blades, tension, and speed, to ensure accurate cuts and minimize waste
- Inspect finished materials to ensure they meet quality and customer standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
- Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and measurements
- Track production output and complete required documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating slotter, slitter, converting, or similar production machinery preferred
- Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure (this skill will be tested during the hiring process)
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/production facility
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and paper dust
