Schedule: Full-Time | 7pm-7am (Night Shift), 2,2,3,2 rotation 
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Summary

The Slitter Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations within the Slitter department while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications and quality standards.

This hands-on leadership role provides direct supervision, coaching, and operational support to production employees while partnering with management and cross-functional teams to achieve productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily Slitter production activities and department performance.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Coordinate staffing, training, workflow priorities, and resource allocation.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, downtime, waste, and operational performance.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Shipping, Inventory, Facilities, IT, and Production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, SOPs, and ISO requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of manufacturing, printing, converting, or production experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Experience in Slitter operations or related finishing/manufacturing processes preferred.
• Printing industry experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, ISO, OSHA, 5S, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
