Sleep-In Nanny Position

You’d care for two young boys, ages 4 and 5, so the family is looking for someone with solid in-home nanny experience who can manage young children’s full daily routines on their own. Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, sleep-in. Wednesday–Friday split shift, 6:00–8:00 AM and 2:00–7:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 8-hour days. Full days during summer break.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

A warm, close-knit household in Little Rock is looking for a loving, energetic sleep-in Nanny / House Manager to stay with the family Wednesday through Sunday. This role is mostly hands-on childcare in a private home. You’d care for two young boys, ages 4 and 5, so the family is looking for someone with solid in-home nanny experience who can manage young children’s full daily routines on their own. The boys thrive on consistency and routine, so the family wants someone ready to make a long-term commitment and grow with them. On school days you’ll get the boys ready in the morning and take over in the afternoon, including driving them to activities. On weekends you’ll keep their days structured and engaging. Beyond childcare, the goal is to be a dependable, flexible partner who steps in wherever help is needed and makes day-to-day life easier for the household. During your workweek stays you’ll have a private downstairs bedroom with a window and patio access. The family also has a friendly 7-year-old Golden Retriever.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full, hands-on care for two boys, ages 4 and 5, as their primary caregiver during working hours
• Get the boys up, dressed, fed and ready for school each morning
• Pick up after school and drive to and from afterschool activities
• Install and manage car seats safely
• Plan and lead structured, engaging activities on weekends and school breaks
• Keep consistent routines for meals, play, homework and bedtime
• Supervise water play and swimming
• Do light household tasks: children’s laundry, light meal prep and cooking, tidying shared spaces
• Help with the family dog as needed
• Adjust to the household’s needs day to day so the family’s life runs smoothly
• Work full days during summer break

Requirements:

• Proven professional in-home childcare experience as a nanny or in a similar private household role
• Experience caring for two young children at the same time
• Compassionate, patient, active and high-energy
• Committed to a long-term role, with stability and consistency as top priorities
• Available to sleep in Wednesday through Sunday nights
• Valid driver’s license
• Confident, capable swimmer
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• COVID-19 vaccinated
• Comfortable living with a dog
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
