    • Location: Mease Countryside Hospital
    • Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
    • Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
    • Shift: Days
    • Weekend Work: None
    • On Call: No

    The Sleep Disorders Clinical Coordinator is an experienced sleep professional responsible for supporting the manager in the daily operations of the Sleep Disorders Center. This role provides leadership and oversight of team members while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, physician satisfaction, and operational excellence.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Support the manager in departmental operations and team supervision
    • Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, counseling, performance evaluations, and team member development
    • Manage patient care concerns, team member issues, and physician requests
    • Ensure adequate staffing and team member competency
    • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements
    • Assist with policy review, quality initiatives, and process improvement efforts
    • Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, administration, and team members
    • Act as a role model by promoting BayCare's mission, values, and service excellence standards

    Certifications and Licensures Required:

    • Active BRPT (RPSGT) or AASM Certification
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Certifications Preferred:

    • CCSH (Certified Clinical Sleep Health)

    Education Required:

    • Associate Degree in Sleep Disorders Technology

    Education Preferred:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field

    Experience Required:

    • Five (5) years of Sleep Disorders experience

    Experience Preferred:

    • Three (3) years of Clinical Coordinator experience
    • Two (2) years in a Lead role within a related healthcare field

    Specific Skills Required:

    • Leadership and team-building skills
    • Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities
    • Knowledge of sleep laboratory operations and regulatory requirements
    • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Computer skills appropriate to position
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
    • Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care
