What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of a large-scale Medicare transformation project, including the transition from a third-party FACETS platform to an internally managed FACETS environment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Drive coordination across multiple workstreams, including business operations, claims, enrollment, provider management, IT, compliance, regulatory, and vendor teams.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, functional leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, status reviews, and executive updates, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate testing, readiness assessments, cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-implementation support.
  • Support change management, operational readiness, business adoption, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive accountability across project teams and escalate issues appropriately to maintain project momentum.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale healthcare transformation, system migration, implementation, or integration projects.
  • Healthcare industry experience required, preferably within a health plan or payer organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading FACETS implementations, migrations, upgrades, or related core administration platform initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare payer experience strongly preferred.

  • Deep understanding of Medicare operations, products, regulatory requirements, and business processes.

  • Experience supporting:

  • Medicare Advantage (MA)

  • Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD)

  • Medicare Part D

  • Medicare Supplement

  • Experience with FACETS platform transitions, implementations, or operational modernization initiatives.

  • Previous experience supporting post-acquisition integration efforts or large-scale healthcare transformations.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.

  • Experience managing regulatory, operational, and technology workstreams within Medicare environments.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The targeted pay range is $60-70/hr.  Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
