Description

Client keeps essential industries running—specialty oils, asphalt, and infrastructure that the world depends on. As a Skilled Tradesman you will keep our plants, terminals, and equipment operating safely and reliably so customers get what they need, when they need it. Your craftsmanship directly protects people, production, and our reputation as a trusted partner.

Job Responsibilities

Complete preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, piping, valves, and rotating equipment so assigned assets stay at or above 98% availability.
Finish work orders on schedule and to specification, documenting every repair for regulatory and internal audits.
Spot and fix mechanical issues before they become downtime events, cutting unplanned outages on your equipment by at least 15% year-over-year.
Lead lockout/tagout, confined-space, and hot-work jobs so every task meets or exceeds OSHA and company safety standards with zero recordable incidents.
Support turnarounds and capital projects by delivering specialized fabrication, welding, or millwright work on time and within budget.
Train and coach less-experienced crew members so the team can handle more crafts in-house.

Environment & Resources
You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work side-by-side with operations, engineering, and contractors. Full shop, tools, parts inventory, and training are provided. Expect a mix of indoor/outdoor work, some travel to other Client sites, and a culture that values safety, reliability, and getting the job done right.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on industrial experience in mechanical, electrical, welding, or millwright trades.
High-school diploma or GED plus relevant certifications (welder, electrician, millwright, or equivalent).
Ability to read P&IDs, blueprints, and follow lockout/tagout and confined-space procedures without supervision.
Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform in all weather.
Valid driver’s license, TWIC (or ability to obtain), and clean MVR; must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
