- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, exhaust, and engine repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical concerns
- Use diagnostic equipment and service information
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Verify your repairs are completed correctly
- Communicate additional vehicle concerns to the service advisor
- Keep your tools and work area clean and organized
- Protect customer vehicles while working on them
- Follow shop safety procedures
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality
