California Entertainment Lighting & Rigging Company is building a team of skilled and experienced lighting professionals who take pride in doing the job right. From concerts & festivals, to corporate events, broadcast, and live events. \nPrimary Responsibilities:
\n● Load-in, install, address, operate, troubleshoot, and strike professional lighting systems.
\n● Hang and cable lighting fixtures, truss, and supporting equipment while following industry-standard safety practices
\n● Read and work through lighting plots, paperwork, CAD drawings, and production schedules
\n● Assist with system builds, power distribution, networking, and testing
\n● Assist in shop to prep gear for upcoming events including addressing, labeling, etc.
\n● Work closely with production managers, designers, riggers, & other show departments to ensure successful event execution.
\n● Represent the company professionally with clients, venues, and fellow crew members
\nQualifications:
\n● Previous experience in live events/live event lighting required.
\n● Experience with medium to large scale concerts, corporate, theatrical staging events is preferred
\n● Familiarity with professional lighting equipment such as Martin, Robe, Chuavet, Claypaky, Ayrton, GLP, Vari-lite, etc.
\n● Networking experience with different protocols including DMX, sACN, Art-Net, and MANet as well as familiarity with networking equipment including ProPlex, Luminex, Swisson and Fleenor.
\n● Ability to demonstrate proficiency in programming GrandMA (hardware and software for both MA2 and MA3), ETC EOS Family, ETC ColorSource, Chamsys, Avolites, and Hog are a plus
\n● MEWP & Forklift certifications are encouraged
\n● Rigging Certifications including Rope Access (SPRAT, IRATA) or ETCP certifications are also encouraged
\n● Ability to lift over 50 lbs
\n● Comfortable at heights, ladders, and long hours standing + walking
\n● Weekends & holidays may apply

\n● Positions are available as either W-2 employees or Independent Contractors (1099).
\n● Independent Contractors must provide the required documentation to be onboarded, including applicable business documentation and tax forms (Business License, SoS Cert, or Articles of Incorporation. W9, COI, & OSHA 10 or 30 Certification)
