    Description

    Ability to drive and operate Bobcats Experience in proper excavations and land drillings Knowledge in excavating according to the accurate measurement of the depth of the excavation Understanding of loading unloading and transport procedures for equipment Experience digging up stones and other debris Must be able to diagnose and perform daily maintenance on the equipment. I.e. Change Hoses Preventive maintenance Oil Changes Change Bulbs Change Tires and/or tracks Grease & Clean Machinery daily Knowledge of compaction requirements for ground conditions or customer needs 2-3 recent years experience of hands-on" experience with tools or heavy equipment Must have a safety first attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

    Qualifications

    • Bobcat certified preferred
    • Valid drivers license

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as:

    • Climbing
    • Lifting
    • Balancing
    • Walking
    • Stooping
    • Handling of materials up to 75 pounds

    Working under extreme hot conditions Frequently walk on uneven surfaces including natural ground in varying weather conditions. Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise and dust that is typically associated with a construction project. Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as:

    • Grease
    • Gasoline
    • Diesel fuel
    • Hot asphalt mix

    Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue Requires good manual dexterity, hand and hand with arm two hands and multi-limb coordination
