Our client is seeking a Project Manager with significant sitework, grading, and utility construction experience to join their Charlotte office. This individual will play a hands-on leadership role, managing complex site development projects, mentoring field teams, and helping drive the growth of a fast-growing design-build contractor.
Plan and manage sitework and mass grading projects from start to finish, ensuring all goals are met. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all project sites. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns. Prepare and present project reports for stakeholders as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
A successful Sitework / Mass Grading Project Manager should have: Experience managing sitework and mass grading projects in the construction industry. Strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients and teams. Problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure project success. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project planning and reporting.
Base salary target of $100,000 - $110,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates. $500 monthly vehicle allowance. Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
