This role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work in a field environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include: Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods Safely operating tools and equipment Exposure to inclement weather Experience with construction technology, including grade control, site control, telematics, and machine safety Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software - with training Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications CAT ET & CAT SIS 2.0 experience Ability to drive and valid license required Experience with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica technology installation and repair
