    Description

    AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Site Survey and HCM Lead to join their team in Washington DC. The qualified candidate will lead site surveys across worldwide Consular facilities, delivering recommendations for renovations, infrastructure components, and physical placement of equipment. Directs Hardware Configuration Management for all designated DT/EA/CST configurable items. Coordinates survey findings with deployment planning and server installation schedules. Reviews facility readiness ahead of scheduled installations, identifying power, space, and network requirements. Maintains configuration records for deployed hardware across Consular locations. Contributes site survey results to the server refresh plan for worldwide Consular facilities. Coordinates with Post and Consular Facility POCs to reduce disruption during surveys and installations. Plans and leads major survey efforts as a technical expert who may supervise others.

     

    Experience and Skills

    • Extensive experience conducting enterprise IT site surveys, infrastructure assessments, and technical readiness evaluations.
    • Strong knowledge of Hardware Configuration Management (HCM), asset lifecycle management, and enterprise configuration control processes.
    • Experience evaluating facility readiness, including power, rack space, cooling, cabling, and network infrastructure requirements.
    • Ability to analyze site survey findings and develop recommendations for equipment placement, infrastructure upgrades, and facility modernization.
    • facility managers, deployment teams, and technical personnel to ensure successful installation planning.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify infrastructure risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
    • Experience supporting enterprise server refresh initiatives, technology modernization, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and project coordination skills with the ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple concurrent survey efforts.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, AutoCAD (or similar technical drawing software), and project management tools.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare technical reports, survey findings, and executive briefings.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to conduct site surveys and support

    deployment activities.

    Physical Requirements

    • Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.
    • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds. Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.
    • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.
    • Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
    • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.
    • Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.
    • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
    • Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation assumed unless separately certified and required.
