Description

Overview: Under the direction of the Director, the Medical Group Site Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of assigned medial practice clinics. Responsibilities:
  • Oversees / coordinates daily operation of assigned practices
  • Works / collaborates with physicians(s) to assure that operations are efficient
  • Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame
  • Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members
  • Attends staff meetings, completes required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
  • Conducts regular review of facilities for EOC surveys
  • Ensure staff complies with all UF CFH Polices, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards; ensures that all licenses and permits are current, and updates as needed
  • Ensures excellent patient/customer service as measured by departmental service scores. Conducts regular rounding on patients/ customers, and staff. Utilizes service recover as necessary.
  • Serves as a floater for clinic when needed to fill vacancies as needed and within scope of position
  • Engages staff and creates a positive team environment in the clinic, is fair and consistent in policy application and corrective action
  • Well versed in CMS incentive payment programs to ensure compliance for employed physician practices
  • Provides staff education for all new employees and educates as needed for current employees
  • Tracks and submits list of supplies needed for outpatient clinics maintaining financial responsibilities of budgets
  • Completes other duties as requested/assigned
Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Highschool Graduate or equivalent

 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Preferred certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, but not required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional

 

Training/Experience Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
