Job Summary:The Site Safety Manager serves as the specialist in safety by developing and implementing best practices and procedures for a Raleigh, North Carolina project. The Site Safety Manager will effectively mitigate hazards and minimize accidents and health exposures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The following are the primary duties, though others may be assigned as necessary:
Collaborate with Safety Director (“SD”) on safety policies, procedures and safety manual
Document injuries, report incidents, and investigate and manage claims
Prepare and submit proposals for training and safety measures, including equipment and processes
Develop/revise/audit safety hazard assessment documentation completion processes
Work with Clients, General Contractors and Site Managers to correct site issues
Assist in staff management
Miscellaneous Other Duties
