Introduction

The MAPS Quartz team is responsible for the reliability and operational health of the Quartz platform. We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance platform and application observability, drive reliability improvements, and deliver measurable gains in operational efficiency across Global Markets. The role involves close collaboration with Quartz core teams to execute platform modernization, migration to Cloud (Cloud 1.0, 2.0), harden production systems, and evolve support tooling. This position is vital to maintaining execution velocity, reducing operational risk, and ensuring Quartz meets its reliability and performance objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience
• Hands-on Django and REST API development. Strong MySQL/database skills
• Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience, Infrastructure engineering and automation background
• Experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines and observability and monitoring experience (Dynatrace preferred)
• Azure and/or AWS cloud experience, experience working in large-scale production environments

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Additional experience with other programming languages and frameworks
• Advanced certifications in cloud technologies
• Experience with additional monitoring and observability tools
• SRE, Reliability Engineering, and DevOps practices
• OpenTelemetry and modern observability tools
• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks
• Financial Services / Trading Platform experience
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor and support core infrastructure and components
• Execute automation initiatives and enhance internal tools
• Lead incident response to maintain platform reliability at scale
