We are seeking experienced Engineers to support large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects throughout the South Central region. These positions sit between engineering design and active construction. The Site Engineer will provide technical engineering support in the field, working alongside construction teams, clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to address issues that arise as projects progress.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Review contractor submittals and RFIs from an engineering perspective
• Provide technical responses and recommendations regarding construction and design issues
• Support field-driven design changes and modifications
• Evaluate discrepancies between design documents and actual field conditions
• Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance on electrical, power, mechanical, and mission-critical systems
• Participate in client and construction coordination meetings
• Support troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities as required
• Maintain a strong onsite presence and help resolve issues that could impact quality or project execution

The successful applicant will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 10+ years of construction oversight, inspection, field engineering, or superintendent experience.
• Strong structural steel construction experience, including steel erection, connections, welding, bolting, and structural installation.
• Ability to effectively read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Experience identifying and resolving structural construction issues in the field.
• Strong experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, clients, inspectors, and project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management or scheduling software.
• Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite and travel as project needs require.

Preferred:

• EIT, PE, CWI, ICC, or other relevant structural/construction certification.
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial facilities, or other large-scale structural steel projects.
• Familiarity with structural steel quality assurance, inspection, testing, and documentation processes.
• Experience working in fast-paced construction environments with multiple trades and concurrent work packages.
