    Key Project Requirements:

    • 10+ years of power plant construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Owner's Representative leadership role.
    • Experience managing the construction of simple-cycle or combined-cycle gas-fired power plants.
    • Experience with GE 7F-class gas turbine projects strongly preferred.
    • Proven ability to lead EPC contractors and oversee multi-discipline construction activities while representing the owner's interests.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide owner's representative oversight during the construction, commissioning, and startup of a simple-cycle gas-fired power plant. This role serves as the primary on-site liaison between the owner, EPC contractor, and project stakeholders, ensuring the project is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements and quality standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the owner's on-site representative, providing daily oversight of EPC construction activities and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
    • Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities to support safe, efficient project execution and milestone achievement.
    • Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, quality, productivity, and schedule adherence while identifying and resolving project issues.
    • Lead regular project meetings with the owner, EPC contractor, and key stakeholders, providing accurate status updates and recommendations.
    • Review construction work plans, schedules, change requests, RFIs, and contractor deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Support commissioning, turnover, and startup activities while coordinating project readiness between construction and operations teams.
    • Promote a strong safety culture by working closely with the project EHS team to ensure compliance with all site safety and environmental requirements.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience leading EPC contractors on utility-scale power generation or heavy industrial construction projects.
    • Experience overseeing construction, mechanical completion, system turnover, commissioning, and startup activities on large capital projects.
    • Familiarity with GE 7F-class gas turbine construction and installation activities strongly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of EPC execution, contractor management, construction sequencing, quality assurance, and schedule management.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

    Education / Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience supporting utility-scale power generation or heavy industrial projects.
    • Experience supporting the construction of gas-fired power plants utilizing GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or comparable heavy-duty gas turbine technology, with GE 7F-class experience strongly preferred.
