The Site Manager serves as the operational leader of an assigned Health Care Partners of South Carolina practice site and is responsible for the oversight and management of day-to-day operations. Working with limited supervision from the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and in collaboration with providers and organizational leadership, the Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of services, staff accountability, patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
The Site Manager provides direct oversight of front office, clinical support, nursing, referral, care coordination, and administrative staff assigned to the site. This position promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and patient-centered care while supporting the organization's mission, strategic initiatives, and operational goals. The Site Manager serves as the primary operational resource for the location and is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
· Serves as the primary operational leader for the assigned health center and maintains accountability for the overall performance of the site.
· Oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice site to ensure efficient workflow, patient access, customer service excellence, and achievement of organizational goals.
· Provides direct supervision and leadership to front office, clinical, nursing, referral, care coordination, and administrative staff assigned to the site.
· Conducts performance evaluations, provides coaching and feedback, addresses employee performance concerns, and promotes staff accountability.
· Ensures staff compliance with organizational policies, procedures, training requirements, and regulatory standards.
· Works closely with providers and departmental leadership to support efficient patient flow, quality care, operational effectiveness, and positive patient outcomes.
· Monitors staffing schedules, clinic capacity, workflow processes, and operational needs to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient service delivery.
· Oversees implementation of organizational programs, initiatives, and operational priorities within the assigned site.
· Participates in quality improvement activities and assists with the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of performance improvement initiatives.
· Reviews operational reports, patient satisfaction data, quality metrics, and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Identifies operational challenges and develops solutions that improve efficiency, patient experience, employee engagement, and site performance.
· Assists with budget monitoring, resource management, and responsible stewardship of organizational assets.
· Coordinates site readiness and compliance efforts related to audits, inspections, surveys, and regulatory reviews.
· Maintains awareness of community resources and develops positive working relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
· Participates in leadership meetings, quality improvement activities, organizational committees, and strategic initiatives as assigned.
· Serves as a resource for patient concerns, employee concerns, and operational issues while promoting timely resolution and service excellence.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field required.
· Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related field preferred.
· Minimum of three (3) years of leadership, supervisory, healthcare operations, physician practice management, ambulatory care, FQHC, or healthcare administration experience preferred.
· Prior experience managing staff and daily operations within a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
· Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), practice management systems, scheduling software, and operational reporting preferred.
· Equivalent combinations of education and progressively responsible healthcare operations or practice management experience may be considered.
· Valid South Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation required.
· Strong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills.
· Knowledge of healthcare operations, physician practice management, and patient service excellence.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, healthcare compliance standards, and quality improvement principles.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Ability to build effective working relationships with providers, staff, patients, community partners, and organizational leadership.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain professionalism, and handle confidential information with discretion.
