Description

Job Purpose & Impact:
  • The Site Maintenance and Reliability Leader will manage the maintenance of physical assets in compliance with all applicable laws and procedures while achieving maximum plant reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • In this role, you will provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with operations to integrate maintenance services that align with short- and long-term facility goals. You will champion a cultural shift toward operational excellence maximizing performance and asset utilization while minimizing unscheduled downtime through continuous improvement strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Maintenance & EHS Execution: Implement, deploy, and oversee maintenance and repair processes using industry best practices to optimize workforce resources, ensure compliance with inventory/maintenance standards, and improve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) performance.
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Drive continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating gaps, conducting group assessments, and executing action plans to mitigate risk to personnel, equipment, and plant operations.
  • Performance Monitoring & Asset Reliability: Deploy a robust performance tracking system focused on asset reliability and failure elimination, regularly communicating metrics locally and regionally.
  • Long-Term Strategic Planning: Develop long-term reliability roadmaps to enhance plant sustainment; track facility maintenance budgets in accordance with reliability principles to boost overall operational performance.
  • Capital Planning & Project Support: Partner in the capital planning process by supplying data for project work, ensuring maintenance resource availability, and transferring equipment maintainability knowledge to project teams.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of professionals and supervisors in a fast-paced environment. Direct talent management efforts including hiring, performance management, and workforce planning to support immediate and long-term organizational goals.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional operational leadership duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of local and regional safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels to influence decisions and build collaborative partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CMRP Certification: Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Formal training or hands-on experience with predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies.
