    Job Description:

    Position Summary

    The Site & Service Manager is responsible for overall growth, performance, and strategic direction of the company’s rental and repair operations across multiple locations. This role provides leadership and oversight for the department, to ensure long term operational efficiency, scalability, and organizational effectiveness. Working collaboratively with department leadership and cross-functional teams, the position assesses operational processes, staffing structures, and business opportunities to support continued growth and improvement. The Site & Service Manager is accountable for ensuring the rental and repair operation is structured and positioned to meet current and future business objectives.   


    Core Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of site, rental, repair, warehouse, and facility operations across multiple locations to ensure operational excellence and achievement of business objectives.
    • Partner with department leadership to monitor performance, resolve operational challenges, and maintain efficient day to day operations while supporting business continuity.
    • Develop, implement, and standardize processes, procedures, and operational standards that improve efficiency, service quality, consistency, and turnaround times.
    • Evaluate organizational structure, staffing, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure scalability, productivity, and alignment with current and future business needs.
    • Lead the planning, launch, and ongoing performance management of new warehouse and service locations, including operational readiness and facility oversight. 
    • Establish and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, landlords, and service partners, including contract negotiations, to support operational effectiveness, and strategic growth.
    • Analyze KPIs and operational data to drive continuous improvement, profitability, customer satisfaction, cost efficiencies, and business growth while providing recommendations and reporting leadership. 
    • Oversee purchasing activities, vendor relationships, purchase orders and timely procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 
    • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, equipment rental, service, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industrial environment.
    • Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations, managing geographically dispersed teams, and supporting organizational growth.
    • Experience developing, launching and managing new facilities, warehouses, or operational locations.
    • Strong knowledge of equipment rental operations, repair, and maintenance practices, inventory management, customer service, and workplace safety regulations (including OSHA requirements).
    • Proven ability to analyze operational and financial performance metrics, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and utilize ERP systems, rental management software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools to drive business results.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Lean Manufacturing or Lean Operations experience.
    • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training.
    • Experience with KPI development and performance management.
    • Experience in the welding, industrial equipment, construction equipment or related industries preferred.

    Travel: Must be willing and able to travel about 20%

    Compensation Information:

    $97.5k-$125k
