Position: Site Administrator for Athletic Events Reports To: Athletic Director Work Year Days: Scheduled Home Games determined with Athletic Director Work Hours: Scheduled Home Games determined with Athletic Director Compensation: Staff/Para: $25 per hour Teacher: $40 per hour Accountability Objective: The Site Administrator serves as the on-site representative of the Athletic Director during home games, matches, and contests. This position is responsible for ensuring that athletic events are conducted in a safe, organized, and sportsmanlike manner. The Site Administrator acts as the primary point of contact for coaches, officials, visiting teams, fans, and school personnel. Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on-site prior to the event to ensure facilities are prepared (field/court setup, scoreboard, equipment, locker rooms, concessions, etc.).
  • Greet and assist officials, ensuring they have the necessary accommodations and support.
  • Welcome visiting teams, direct them to appropriate locker rooms, and serve as a liaison throughout the event.
  • Monitor crowd behavior and enforce school/sportsmanship policies to ensure a safe and positive environment.
  • Provide visible supervision during the contest and be available to address issues promptly.
  • Assist coaches, players, or officials in handling emergencies or unexpected situations (injuries, weather delays, facility concerns, etc.).
  • Communicate with custodial staff, security, or medical personnel as needed.
  • Serve as the on-site decision-maker if the Athletic Director is not present, escalating major issues appropriately.
  • Stay until the conclusion of the event to ensure teams, officials, and spectators exit safely and facilities are secured.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of school athletic policies and procedures.
  • Prior experience in athletics, education, or event management preferred.
  • CPR and AED certified
