Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Ontario, CA, 91761. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move, locate, and stack products within our facility. Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials and products safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording product movements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating sit-down forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
